Kind and sweet in nature, it does not take much to provoke Haku when something or someone precious to him is being threatened. Haku would gladly die protecting the person he loves most in the world, and hopes that his existence will not have been in vain. Loves small animals, his favorite being the man eating carnivolepus [mutated rabbit] and is often seen with a white one when not in combat.
A bit coquettish around the person he loves most, his intentions are good even if they don't seem the case. Haku can often be heard asking others if they have something "precious" to protect. Bearing a soft smile, even in battle, Haku's precision and skills are wanted by the one he loves.
Sweet by nature, Haku is almost too kind when around others, and it shows when he meets new people. Haku is also highly intelligent, eager to learn and compliant. He is also eerily compassionate and sympathetic. These are traits that Zabuza loves about Haku. Despite a talent for battle, Haku despises needing to kill, but will kill henshu and fleshless if either his own or Zabuza's lives are in danger.
He has a strange love for the mutated flesh eating rabbits, the carnivolepus, and is often seen in the company of one.

When Haku was young, his parents were killed in the wastelands. He was raised in a small but stable militant environment known as the Kiri dome by one of several second class citizens, also known as the Devil of Kiri, Momochi Zabuza. He grew up as a tool for this person, and would gladly do his bidding, and act to his every call and whim. Not much is known about Haku's past, except that he was raised by Zabuza, one of many evolved humans that resided in the Kiri dome.
During Zabuza's revolution against the Kiri dome, Haku was there to clean and dress the wounds of only Zabuza, not really caring for Zabuza's team mates in the revolution. He found them to be useless, even if Zabuza didn't, though Haku had been around them more than once.
Haku's life is a bit of a blur, as he cannot remember life before Zabuza, a trait many of the unluckier orphans carry as well. After seeing the ones he knew die from starvation, he is entirely grateful to Zabuza, and opts to live his life for him completely.

Spends most of his time with Zabuza, usually training or taking missions to kill the fleshless and henshu. After Zabuza's revolt, most of the Kiri dome thought them both to be dead. The officials kept it that way, too embarrassed to tell the people of the dome that they were unable to catch Haku and Zabuza. He spent most of his time as a scavenger in the wastelands with Zabuza before Zabuza decides to take missions to kill henshu and fleshless. They are not invincible, however, and end up wounded a lot, Haku insisting on taking care of both their wounds.
If in instance Haku is left alone, he never lets his guard down, not wanting to be chastised by Zabuza if he is severely wounded. Never takes on henshu or fleshless alone, as he is still not strong enough to do so.
Haku's carnivolepus is a mutated form of rabbit, as he is only able to carry it around as a baby. The baby size is that of a full grown large rabbit.

Experience: 7 years
Sample: Haku sighed, looking out over the wastelands. He saw nothing but dead, petrified trees. Zabuza was scouting the area, so he knew not to let his guard down, just in case. He pulled his goggles up and his aspirator off. The dust storm was over, so he would be able to breathe without inhaling sand particles. He looked up at the brown-grey sky, wondering if once, it'll rain. He scoffed at himself. Of course it didn't rain, that was something he had only heard about in stories.
"Water doesn't fall from the sky, Haku." he chastised himself. But then, how did water come to be? Haku shook his head, looking around. The wind was picking up, which meant there would be more dust in the air. He pulled his goggles back on, fastening the aspirator as well. Zabuza breathed through a mask of bandages, so he didn't need an aspirator to keep dust and debris out when he breathed. He looked around for the older man, leaning against the tree impatiently.
"Come on, Zabuza, it shouldn't take this long." He wondered if Zabuza had gotten lost. He had grown out of his childish ways at an early age, taking on the responsibility of taking care of both himself and Zabuza, trying his very best to become the best tool Zabuza could ever own. He knew Zabuza was proud of him for not backing down when most "kids" his age would. Then again, Haku wasn't like most kids. He didn't cry when hurt, even gravely injured as he had been when they had first started living in the wastelands.
Haku hadn't been prepared for the onslaught of henshuu and fleshless, though now he had gotten used to keeping them at bay while trying his hardest not to become injured. He was a fast learner, and had memorized their weak spots. He smiled behind his mask as Zabuza made his presence known, motioning for Haku to follow him. "Come, Yuuki. It's time to go." he spoke to the carnivolepus at his feet, the beast immediately following it's masters. They had a long journey ahead of them.
