Clothing: White hooded jacket which is fitted with holsters for four of his six guns. He keeps the jacket as impeccably clean as he can manage. Beneath he wears an olive green, full-sleeved shirt. The shirt itself has been strategically modified with lightweight armour, and provides a crucial layer of shielding. His pants are black cargo pants that taper in around halfway down the calf and tuck into a pair of run of the mill black boots. He's got two more pistols that are holstered directly in the waistline of his pants and other necessities which are light enough are squirrelled away in one of his multitude of pockets.
Explanation and Picture: His hair is slightly chaotic and black and he wears is reasonably short, and keeps it combed relatively flat, though his hood seems to undo the efforts of combing. He has slightly narrow eyes which are usually covered by sleek black shades.

Guns: Six compact semiautomatics, each equipped with special handmade cartridges which contain one of his multitude of deadly viruses. The purpose of the guns is not to do any serious damage but rather to make contact, since direct contact with skin will disperse the virus contained within the bullet, and if it gets into the blood stream then essentially the victim will be dead or incapacitated within seconds. Sometimes he carries a submachine specialized in the same manner as his pistols but since it's tiring lagging it around he's not particularly fond of it.
Melee: Doesn't like close range fighting but he has a pair of bladed gloves which are also specially prepared with a unique serum derived from his blood just in case worse comes to worst...
Other Equipment: He carries around little mechanized bugs, nearly an army of them but their main purpose is to collect intell. He spreads them across a location up to a mile radius around himself and they relay geographical and biographical information to him concerning the area. It was a technology developed by his father, and they are working on increasing the range of the devices for future scouting purposes.
And one more thing...Shino is human but particularly adept at forays into the wasteland due to a special ability he developed for the purposes of making himself stronger. Within his own body he carries countless diseases, viruses, infections and the like, all in perfect harmony with each other so that he is not adversely affected by any of the symptoms however this makes his very blood a toxic concoction to just about everything on the face of the earth. That isn't to say he can't be hurt, because his meticulously developed system only ensures death for those who draw blood, but it does make him more resilient to the radiation of the outside world and also to new diseases that he is exposed to.

Shino is above all quiet and reserved, though ambitious he only lets himself be himself when he is not in the company of others. He works very methodically to document all his processes and when he's home he does nothing but spend time training and working in his own private lab.
He has a slight inferiority complex, though he would never admit it, and the cool aloofness with which he acts doesn't suggest as much. It stems from the fact that almost everyone else around him is of a higher state than him, that they are all evolved while he's just human, but that's what drives him to work so hard.
To those who know him, he's friendly in his own way and slightly overbearing, always the voice of reason, and very methodical. To those who don't he's just the mysteriously detached Aburame boy...though really his quietly firm demeanor makes him more of a man in the eye of the public than his comrades.
H I S T O R Y
Shino was born to absent if loving parents for the most part and was raised by his father, who he tried to emanate from a young age. He attended the academy like most of the other children his age and was taught to fight and survive but at best he was mediocre in melee combat and academic pursuits weren't exactly his strength either. An almost constant absence of his parents meant that for most of his life he was cooped up in his house, in his room, or else at school where, despite the strength his father tried to instill in him, he developed an inferiority complex.
His socialization skills--or lack there of--was exacerbated by the fact that he didn't spend time outside of the classroom with his peers, on top of which he was of the unwavering belief that most of the people around him, being of the evolved, were better suited to the life of the Kouya no Keisotsu than he could ever hope to be.
He spent a great deal of his childhood holed up in his room and all in all that time alone he developed a rather severe fascination for all those small critters of the world that had managed to survive the nuclear holocaust that had nearly wiped out humanity.
In due time he began to research those qualities which had allowed such little bugs to survive--and even thrive--when most other living creatures had faced extinction. Eventually his room came to resemble something akin to a private lab. The walls were covered in exquisitely hand drawn images taken from texts, and jars of insects and the like, and the cramped space was constantly host to an ever growing set of lab equipment. But he revealed his secret fascination to no one, fearing that it would isolate him even further from his all but estranged peers.
Some months after graduating the academy Shino was dispatched with the rest of his team on his first excursion out into the wastelands. At this point Shino felt desperately helpless since his only contribution to the team was the operation of a test surveillance system developed by his father, which was dependent on mechanized optic bugs. After the mission was over he returned to Konaha and holed himself up in his room and threw himself with added ferocity into his work despite the knowledge that it was merely self-indulgence and that his research held no true value.
For the first few years Shino felt as though he was just a spare tire so far as the team was concerned. His melee skills were wanting, and his ability to fight limited, so he focused on being an organizational fiend, always on top of every last bit of intel useless or otherwise that would give him the edge. It was tiring, particularly for an unremarkable human like him, but Shino’s pride refused to allow him to be the weakest link in the team. He took his father’s bugs and developed them further, until they could burrow into the ground and fly though the air on strong currents of desert wind. He became obsessive, and realised that more often than not his teammates hated him for the way he was, but he saw no other way to be useful.
One day at the age of sixteen, after a particularly nasty mission which had by all measures been a royal fuck up--not helped in the least by the fact that team eight had been down a man--Shino returned and threw himself into his work with a vengence, furious with himself for how the mission had gone down. In his rather obsessive state he paid no heed to the fact that his body had weakened and he had become rather seriously sickly in a matter of hours upon returning.
His father, Aburame Shibi found him running a high fever and collapsed in unconsciousness at his desk nearly two days later and he was rushed to the hospital. It was discovered that Shino's body was under the onslaught of not one, but rather a potent cocktail of nearly a dozen different viruses and the doctors feared that curing the less volatile of the infections in his body would only allow the other, more resilient viruses to run rampant.
They watched on helplessly as Shino sank into delirium and pain, his condition worsening by the hour under strict quarantine. Finally his father with unrelenting insistence was allowed into his room for one last visit. Shino in a moment of lucidity listened to the explanation that the doctors offered his father with a sense of terror...
In moment of desperate delirium he asked the doctors why they couldn't just kill the invaders in his body by injecting him with even more potent viruses. Surely if the weaker infections could counter some of his symptoms then the right mix of infections should have been able to save him....
Off course it was in all likelyhood an insane idea but the doctors were out of options and Shibi was pressing them to do something...anything.
With nothing left to lose they took up the challenge of countering the effects of the viruses that were wreaking havoc on Shino's young body but with no idea how any two viruses reacted in combination is was a near impossible task.
Shino only seemed to get worse...when one symptom was successfully cleared, three more took it's place and Shino soon felt into a coma but Shibi would not let the doctors turn back. In the end, after an almost endless myriad of infections and parasites and viruses, and through sheer luck alone Shino's condition improved dramatically to the point where he opened his eyes for the first time in six months.
It took a great deal more radical experimentation and a cocktail of ungodly diseases before Shino's body regulated and regained the strength and mobility it once had. By the end of it Shino, then nearly seventeen, was practically conducting his own treatment.
When he was released from the hospital, Shino took with him all the records that the doctors had kept of his treatment. Off course in nearly exponential desperation not all of it was documented as accurately as he could have wished.
He threw himself into discovering the secret behind the fragile balance of his body while he waited for the clear to join his former team back out in the wastelands.
Out on his second foray following his recovery came the most shocking revelation of all. Purely by accident he discovered the irresistible toxicity his own blood held towards all living creatures...even those creatures of nightmares which could be found beyond the domes.
Returning from that excursion he threw himself with renewed vigour into realising the limits of his body as opposed to the truth behind his own survival. He came up with the notion to inject a new invader into his system and at the age of eighteen he first attempted to inject a completely new virus.
It took his body two weeks to regulate and become unresponsive to the new virus attacking his system. Since then he has strived to collect the greatest variety of biological stressers within his own body, in each case treating his own human body as a test subject and methodically producing antidotes and toxins based on his very blood. From that he derived his skill as a true member of his team, capable now of fighting and defending himself as he once felt he never could.
In the end however the whole experience left him a little wearied and more detached than he had been even before. It took him time to regain the bonds that allowed him to reveal the truth behind his own body to those closest to him and to this day only a select few knows the secret to his survival and even in that handful of people there are perhaps none that would suspect the true depth of his secret.

Shino doesn't react well to physical intimacy or anyone so much as touching him for that matter. His social skills fall short of outreaching and for that reason it's very hard for him to place trust in others.
He can be paranoid about himself and others as well.
His other shortcoming is perhaps that he can't always distinguish how he feels about himself. In the current time line he has feelings for both Kiba and Hinata, but although he is aware that he feels differently about them he is unsure as to how to interpret his feelings for either of them.

Experience: A couple months in the summer over a period of about three years. And a few more one on one RPs with buddies~
Sample: The light that filtered in through the grimy window was pale and sickly and Shino had to squint to see the milk page of the notebook in front of him. The thought of turning on a light crossed his mind and the fingers of his right hand curled with the urge to reach out and flick on the shoddy little lamp that sat on his desk. The knowledge that the flourescent bulb was burnt out kept his hand right hand still.
Shino furrowed his eyebrows in concentration. The air didn't stir as he held his breath, his left hand curving and then end with a flick of the wrist as he held the graphite pencil tight in his hand. Shino chewed on his tongue with his back molars as he edged his hand along the thin paper of the notebook in preparation for the next stroke of his pencil.
In the fading light and with increasingly narrowed eyes Shino watched the diagram of a male libellula luctuosa: a dragonfly labeled the 'Widow Skimmer', take form on the page before him.
It was with a note of satisfaction that Shino scribbled down the classification and cited the text from which he had gotten the diagram (for future reference) before shutting the notebook and placing it on the smooth plain working surface of his desk.
The light outside his window had all but ceased to exist and the narrow strip of domed sky he could see was a leeched grey-blue colour, the tint of twilight. Shino rubbed tiredly at his eyes and opened his notebook once more, staring contentedly at the newest addition to his collection of notarised drawings before snapping the cover shut on the notebook with a sense of finality.
Throwing off his sweater Shino curled up onto his bed which was some two feet away from his desk and turned to face his peeling blue walls.
Making a mental note to replace the bulb of his lamp, Shino slipped with a lingering sense of accomplishment into the tentative embrace of a evening nap.
